Hi everyone. What a busy weekend we've had! On Friday we sang at The Boot pub in Baldock, as part of the Balstock Music Festival. A fun experience, with a very different audience to what we're used to. They had all come to their local to watch the football, and although a lot of them seemed to like the music, they certainly weren't there to watch folkies. They were NOISY! But it taught us how to deal with a different sort of situation and taught us that we can pretty well.
On Sunday we participated in a charity fundraising concert for Horses Helping People. It was held in memory of a guy that used to come to the Redbourn Folk Club, and sadly passed away last Christmas. It was such fun day, lovely day, a huge and incredible response to our set and helped raise £850 for the charity, so a massive success.
Now we're all having as relaxing a week as we can, with work and stomach bugs! On Friday, we're playing at The Torriano pub in Kentish Town, with a fab line up so, if you can make it, come along. It promises to be a fab night! Then we're back in the studio on Saturday to try and finish our ep.
Hope to see you at a gig soon
