Tuesday 26 March 2013

Hi guys.  Sorry we've been a bit quiet.  We had a well deserved week off, but we're back and working hard for our next gigs!

Music City Unsigned was fabulous on the 16th March!  A bit of a weird one for us because it was a very different audience, and venue, to what we're used to.  But we seemed to go down really well, and sold a few CDs :) The other bands did a brilliant job too, and the audience loved the whole evening.  We were broadcast live on BBC Three Counties, but I think the listen again has expired :(  They broadcast our first track (Derby Ram) live, and we had a chat with them about the local music scene.  The Alban Arena is now a BBC Introducing Stage, so definitely worth keeping your beady eyes open for more up and coming acts there in the future!

Kathy went on holiday the following day, so we've all been concentrating on other things for the past week, but we have a couple of gigs looming, so we're back to business, polishing older songs and learning new ones.  Jess and her dad have been busy writing, so there's some ORIGINAL MATERIAL about to happen!!! Scary and exciting!!

Our next gig is a very exciting one, supporting the lovely Megson at the Baldock and Letchworth folk club.  Details for that can be found on our calendar page.  Do come along if you can, it promises to be a fab night! If you don't know Megson, check them out at www.megsonmusic.co.uk. We're really looking forward to it, and feel very honoured :)

After that we're heading to The Pioneer in St Albans (another unusual venue for us) to take part in a fundraising event.  Again, details can be found on our calendar page

We do hope you can make it to one or two of our gigs.  If you do, come and say hi.  We really enjoy meeting everyone.  And remember, if you haven't bought an EP yet, they can be purchased through PayPal from our shop link above, or bought in person at any of our gigs.

Keep warm and safe
